Getting to Yacht Hampton from the Sag Harbor Customs House
Once you are done at the Customs House site, the drive to our marina near the Sag Harbor Customs House is short and simple. We are at 51 Pine Neck Ave, about 3 miles away, and most visitors do it in 7 to 10 minutes.
- From the village, head west out of Sag Harbor on Noyac Road and follow it along the bay.
- Stay on Noyac Road for about 2.5 miles as it curves past homes and water views.
- Near Cromer's Market, turn right onto Pine Neck Ave.
- Follow Pine Neck Ave to the marina entrance at 51 Pine Neck Ave. Our signs mark the driveway.
Timing matters in season. From late June through Labor Day, traffic around Main Street backs up with pedestrian crossings and cars circling for parking. A 7 minute drive can stretch closer to 15 on a Saturday afternoon. Leaving mid-morning helps you skip the worst of it.
We have on-site parking for day-trippers and slip holders, with spaces close to the dock access points. Most boaters find a spot quickly, but early arrival helps on holidays like the Fourth of July. Life on Our Working Cove
Our stretch of waterfront runs at its own rhythm. Boats have worked this cove on Mill Creek since 1953, and the season still sets the pace. In late fall and early spring the docks are quiet. Halyards clink, and a few local boats sit in the water. By July it is a different story. Slips fill, members load coolers, and boats head out toward Shelter Island and the open bays.
The cove is protected on three sides, which keeps the water calm when the bays turn rough. The docks were rebuilt in Brazilian IPE wood in 2023. Every slip carries power, high-pressure water, and high-speed WiFi. The Mediterranean-inspired Beach Club gives members a place to unwind dockside. It is a slower, village-scale pace, and it shapes everything from noise levels after dark to how well we know each boat.
