Winter Boat Storage in Sag Harbor

sf-thumb (1)

Cold weather is hard on a boat left in the water. Freezing water can crack an engine block or a hull. A good winter home prevents that. Yacht Hampton has stored boats on the East End since 1953, on a calm, protected cove off Noyac Road.

What we handle

We take care of the whole off-season, not just a parking spot. Here is what that looks like:

  • Haul-out at the end of the season.

  • Secure storage at our private, staffed marina.

  • Optional shrink wrapping to keep snow and ice off.

  • Optional winterization for the engine and plumbing.

  • Spring launch when the water warms up.

  • You pick the pieces you want. We give a free estimate first, so there are no surprises.

Why store at Yacht Hampton

Our cove is quiet and shielded from rough water. The marina is on site and staffed all year, so your boat is never left alone in a distant lot. You stay close enough to stop by, and we offer competitive storage rates with no hidden fees. The team that stores your boat is the same team that launches it, so nothing gets lost between fall and spring.

Add winterization and a wrap in one trip

Storing in one spot saves you time and trouble. As a full-service boat storage hub, we haul your boat, wrap it, winterize it, and store it. In spring, we launch it, start it up, and check it over. The same people see your boat all winter, so nothing falls through the cracks. When you are ready for the water again, see spring launch.

How to reserve

Spots fill as the season winds down, and the larger ones go first. Call early in the fall to hold a place. We will quote your boat and lock in your dates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you handle haul-out and spring launch?
Yes. We pull your boat at the end of the season and launch it in spring. One team does both, so the timing lines up.

When should I book winter storage?
Book in late summer or early fall. The bigger spots go first, so earlier is better.

How far ahead should I book storage?
Book in late summer or early fall. Spaces fill as the season ends, and the bigger spots go first. Earlier is always safer.

Do you store trailered boats and jet skis?
Yes. We store trailered boats and personal watercraft. You can add a wrap or winterization in the same visit.

How do I get a winter storage estimate?
